To ensure that our exams accurately and reliably assess our candidates' German language proficiency, we use the guidelines of the ISO 29992 standard for developing, administering, and assessing the exams. This international standard is a general standard for assessing learning outcomes. We have specified this standard by creating application guidelines for the standard for assessing German language proficiency (CEFR). For quality assurance, we work with the independent certification body DeuZert. This institution operates according to the strict requirements of ISO/IEC 17065 to ensure the integrity, credibility, and acceptance of its certifications. DeuZert has over 20 years of experience and a team of experienced education experts, examiners, auditors, and assessors. DeuZert conducts a comprehensive annual review to ensure that all our processes and procedures comply with the requirements of the ISO 29992 standard.

How your exam will work – Guide for participants
German certificates online – for all CEFR levels from A1 to C1
Our language certificates provide transparent feedback on your German language skills and are based on the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). After completing one of our online exams, you will receive a personalized certificate documenting your achieved language level – from A1 to C1. In addition to the date of the exam, it also includes your name, the level achieved, and an overview of the skills tested, such as listening, reading, writing, and speaking. These skills are described based on the CEFR criteria and allow for a clear classification of your language abilities. Our exams and certificates are designed to be easy to understand, practical, and comprehensible. You can use the certificate, for example, in applications, for further training, or to assess your own progress.
