Please upload an official, valid, and internationally recognized photo ID document (e.g., passport or national identity card) as a JPG or PNG file. Please note that driver's licenses or temporary residence permits are not legally acceptable.

Guidelines for the current selfie:

Please provide a recent headshot in JPG or PNG format. Your face and eye color must be clearly visible. To avoid delays, please do not use filters or head coverings. Full-body photos, headshots for job applications, or photos of ID cards are not acceptable.

After booking:

You will immediately receive an email with all further information about your exam.

1. Booking confirmation & invoice:

Immediately after successful receipt of payment, you will automatically receive your order confirmation, the official order acceptance and your invoice by email.

2. Preparation & Checklist:

A few days before the appointment, we will send you an email with all the important details about the procedure as well as the link to your personal exam checklist.
Important note: If you have not received this email, please inform us no later than 48 hours before the start of the exam.

3. On the day of the exam - Access:

Exactly 5 minutes before the exam starts, we will send you the Zoom link for the digital exam room via email.

Please have this ready for identification purposes:

A valid, original identification document with a clearly recognizable photograph (identity card or passport). Note: Fictitious certificates or copies are not legally acceptable.

⚠️ Please arrive absolutely on time. For legal reasons, the exam cannot be administered if you are late.

4. Conducting the test:

Your examiner will start the session with you via Zoom. You will complete the written part independently using our secure examination software under digital supervision. The oral examination will then be conducted directly by the examiner.

Once your exam has been evaluated, you will conveniently receive your results (and, if you passed, your certificate) via email. The evaluation time depends exactly on the option you selected when booking.

• Express option: Delivery in just 2 days
• Express option: Delivery within 5 days
• Standard option: Delivery after 14 days

Existence regulation:

A certificate will be issued upon successful completion of the exam. To pass, at least 50% of the total points must be achieved in each section of the exam.

Required technology & environment:

To guarantee a completely smooth and error-free online exam process, the following requirements must be met at your workplace:

• Computer / Notebook: A PC or laptop with a stable internet connection (the use of an external monitor is possible).
• Accesories: A working webcam, keyboard, mouse, and headphones or a headset.
• Additional device: A ready-to-use smartphone.
• Environment: A quiet, private room where you will be undisturbed and alone throughout the entire exam.

⚠️ Heads-up:

Our exam software does not support the use of tablets (e.g., iPads) or smartphones as the primary device. The exam can only be taken on a fully functional computer or laptop.

Heads-up:

Our exams, tasks, and test content are specifically developed according to the strict guidelines of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages ​​(CEFR) for levels A1 to C1. This guarantees a precise, objective, and reliable assessment of your actual language skills.

Your certificate confirms this:

The evaluation is based on scientifically sound assessment scales. Your certificate reflects your language proficiency transparently, accurately, and in an internationally comparable manner according to the official CEFR proficiency scale.

Competency level B2 (Advanced knowledge):

At CEFR level B2, you have already achieved advanced knowledge of the German language. This means that you can communicate fluently and spontaneously in most everyday situations as well as in your own field of expertise. The exam content is strictly based on the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages ​​(CEFR).

Passing the B2 exam proves that:
